About

Welcome to my website!  This website contains some of my artworks, please feel free to browse them by themes which can be found at the top of the site with individual headings. Please refresh the page if the pictures don't load properly.

I'm a designer. I design pictures for stories, poems, concepts, themes, and my own writings.

The story of the stone is a Chinese Ming dynasty novel written by Cao, Xueqing. It describes a noble, wealthy family and its rise and fall in social status. The story ends with the lost love and death of the main character--Daiyu. My illustrations of 'the story of the stone' aim to depict her sorrow for fading and dying petals.

The black cat is one of the short horror stories by Edgar Allan Poe. It describes a mentally disordered working man who tortured his cat and killed his wife by accident and was haunted by his fear of his crime and the black cat.

Reintroducing fur animals are my most recent image-based research project, it aims to convey messages of animal welfare through depictions of animals in nature versus brutal images that are often being used by animal activists. It is designed to develop an engaging approach to raise the awareness of protecting wild animals and building harmony between humans and animals.
